Keri Sue Brunk came to yoga because it was the only exercise that was reasonable for the physical limitations of her body – caused through aging, stress, and accidents. Through taking yoga for over 5 years, her physical challenges decreased and she was finally able to build better strength and increased flexibility. February 2013 she participated in a three-week immersion yoga teacher training at the Asheville Yoga Center. It was a life changer for her body and motivated her to be part of sharing the knowledge of how yoga can benefit your overall health. She received her 230 RYT and was exposed to various schools of yoga most notabiliy Anusara, Iyengar, Viniyoga and Kundalini. Her daily practice is inspired by national teachers such as Christina Sell and Elena Brower. Classes with her emphasize alignment as well as the importance of breath work in the asanas.
